The Linda Jamieson School of Dance has provided professional-level, technically driven education to students for the last three decades. During that time, the Linda Jamieson School of Dance has produced countless winners and runners-up at prominent awards programs, including the American Dance Awards.
The school scored a number of victories at the American Dance Awards for the 2017 season. Sophie Qin was recognized as the No. 1 Regional Senior Dancer of the Year, following up on her 2016 win as Regional Teen Dancer of the Year. The school also produced the 2017 Regional Senior Male Dancer of the Year, Maxim Elman, who was first runner-up and second runner-up in 2016 and 2015, respectively, and the 2013 Regional Teen Male Dancer of the Year.
A few of the school’s other 2017 American Dance Award winners include Victoria Slade, Regional Teen Dancer of the Year, and Cameron Robertson, who placed first in the male division. Several students also placed among the top five in various categories, including Eva Huppe, Sarah Zaugg, Emma Peters, and Tali Elman.
