Pre-professional programming is available to dancers between the ages of 8 and 19, though it should be noted that admissions to pre-professional programming are by audition only. There are a wide variety of classes available as a part of the school’s pre-professional program, including jazz and jazz technique, contemporary, musical theater, and pas de deux.
The school’s well-known propensity for producing talented ballet dancers, many who have become professional dancers in various Dance Companies around the world including Canada, Europe and the United States. This level of training begins with the students' commitment to the Professional Ballet Training Program, that involves at least three ballet classes per week. with a view to annual Ballet examinations.
Other aspects of pre-professional program are seasonal, such as openings in the annual Nutcracker production held every December, various well known Ballet Productions such as Swan Lake, Coppelia, and Giselle. It also prepares all students for the annual year-end recital, which takes place in June.
